Fire in the sky
The Independence Day holiday in Sarasota County means fast boats on the water and dazzling displays of color in the skies. The 27th Annual Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix drew throngs to downtown and Centennial Park not only for the traditional boat parade on June 30 but for a number of other events to raise funds for Suncoast Charities for Children. Lido Beach was the place to be Sunday for the races.
