Farmers' Market gets flashed
On June 18 Cancer Support Community-Florida Suncoast performed a flash mob at the Sarasota Farmers' Market. Over 50 staff, board and committee members and CSC supporters danced to promote the upcoming D2L-Dance to Live community-wide dance party initiative. D2L-Dance to Live launches on July 1. The flash mob happened due, in large part, to partnerships with Arthur Murray Dance Studios-Lakewood Ranch and METV. Each dancer told about their connection to cancer by honoring, celebrating or memorializing friends or family members on their T-shirts.
