Director Gil Lazier has chosen a true actor's showcase for the Banyan Theatre Company's season kick-off production and the actors he's chosen are truly showing off their stuff. The directing is smooth and smart; the script witty and wise. The play focuses on the romantic mid-life crisis of a working woman who has a successful marriage and a 26-year-old live-in son. Over 50 staff, board and committee members and CSC supporters danced to promote the upcoming D2L-Dance to Live community-wide dance party initiative. D2L-Dance to Live launches on July 1. The flash mob happened due, in large part, to partnerships with Arthur Murray Dance Studios-Lakewood Ranch and METV. Each dancer told about their connection to cancer by honoring, celebrating or memorializing friends or family members on their T-shirts. For more information on D2L and Cancer Support Community, visit www.cancersupportsuncoast.org or contact Amy Paulishak at 921-5539 or amy@cancersupportsuncoast.org.
